 Suggest a ++Class!

First thing that pops into my mind: Ranger.
Attack - Attack a targeted enemy. (Rangers can use bows and arrows)
Arrow - Specific abilities.
Aim - Higher hit ratio.
Item - Use item from inventory.

Arrow
Eagle-Eye Shot - High damaging, high accuracy.
Sharpshot - Max HP - Current HP = Damage
Scavenger - Drains HP
Camouflage - Cast "Blink" on user.
Barrage - Damage to all enemies.
ShadowShot - Very high damaging, low accuracy.
Velocity - Casts "Haste" on user.
DoubleShot - Attacks twice.
FlashShot - Damage + "Blind" on target.


Most attack names came from FFXI. xD


EDIT: Arrow attacks are in no particular order.

I would like to see;
Marksman:

Attack
Arrow - Certain abilities listed below
Aim
Familiar - Certain Abilities listed below
Item - Use item from inventory.

Arrow
Quick Shot - Double attack on single target
Flame - Arrow with Fire element
Frost - Arrow with Ice element
Bolt - Arrow with Lightning element
Multi Shot - Damage to all enemies
Entwine - Arrow with Rope attached, causing "Hold" + "Slow"
Pierce - Attack that ignores defense.
Mute Shot - Causes damage + "Silence"
Bomb Tipped - Causes explosive damage

Familiar
Sparrow - Uses an ability like "Scan"
Owl - Uses ability "Protect" + "Shell" on target(s)
Wolf - Casts "Haste" on Marksman only
Dog - Barks to run off enemy
Bear - Does mauling type damage
Hawk - Dives causing wind damage.

May as well add an archer.
Weapons are bows ONLY.
Armor is medium to light, able to use heavy admant.

Attack
Archery - Sample skill list will be provided!
Aim - Perhaps something stonger than Aim???
Hide - Blink
Item

Archery would do damage PLUS a negative status effect! There is also one that would dispel!

Poison -Self Explained.

I guess you could use/alter the "Precision" ability set used in FFTA2 for the Archer.
And throw in a few "Sharpshooting" skills from the Sniper Class.

Or go all the way with the "Trapping" abilities, taken from the Hunter. :>

Examples:

Focus: 2x Damage Next turn. (or 2x Accuracy)
Cupid: Confuse (Would be Charm) the target.
Burial: KO's the Undead.
Blackout: Inflict Blind/Darkness.
Leg Shot: Inflict Slow on the target.
Arm Shot: Inflict Weakness on the target.

Doubleshot: 2x Attacks.
Beso Toxico: Damage + Poision.
Vanish: Could be another "Blink" version.
Death Sickle: Casts Doom.


Sonic Boom: Hits all targets.
Vitals Shot: Chance of inflicting various status alignments.
Sidewinder: Inflict 1.5x damage.
Ultima Shot: "the ultimate hunter ability" Speaks for itself. :3

If you really want a Moogle class.. how about the Moogle Knight/Mog Knight..
Unless it's already been implemented.
Using the base skills of Moogle Knight (Again from FFTA2), more would have to be added to the moveset.

Attack
Onslaught
Cover
Item

MogFirstAid - Cure1 on the user.
MogAttack - Stronger attack than normal.
MogGuard - Casts Protect on self/target.
MogResist - Casts Shell on self/target.
MogLance - << I'll have to think about this one. >>
MogRage - Casts Beserk on the user.
MogStep - Casts Haste on the user.
MogWave - Hits all targets.
MogRush - Heavy damage but less accuracy.
MogRegen - Self-explanatory.
MogSentinel - Protect on the user + Covers others.
MogShield - Shell + Protect on self/target.
MogAid - Cure2 + Esuna on self.
MogDisarm - Inflict Weaken on target.
MogCharge - Lotsa' damage for lotsa' mp.
Kupo! - Cure3 + MindHeal3 to the party? (:

I like how that took about 10 -15 minutes to think up.

Always good ideas, I'm just personally attempting to not rip classes from other games. I like coming up with my own ideas. (I'm not saying I haven't accidentally stolen ideas if I have.)

Also be careful not to double post. =/

Sing includes
CarmellDansen ( All Charachters on field gain all GOOD status effects )
Paffendorf ( You Sing Paffendorf for a Protect on all charachters )
Firing Mah Lazar ( shoots a lazar from the heavens )
Numa Numa ( Makes a fat guy fall on the enemies dancing )
It makes it so either the caster goes to the middle of the screen to sing-or has a bard state

Dance would include
CarmellDansen ( Inflicts bad status's on all enemies )
Paffendorf ( Casts Shell on all Charachters ( PLAYERS )
Numa Numa ( Casts Beserk on all charachters )
Random Dancing ( Does a random command ) Good if your bored

Sentinel would cover an ally while in a defensive state-Protect and Sentinel do not stack

I wonder if this is ACTUALLY a real class suggestion by me o.O

CaramellDansen and paffendolf are some kind of Bandwagon, that's like mad XD

Caramell Dansen is not Japanese, and the other song it English, just sped up. That doesn't suck. you just don't like the bandwagons from outside the country.

Spirit - Based from the Wis/Will stat, up to you really. Some would also induce status effects, but again that would be unless you wanted to change that too.

Spirit

FireWhip - Fire damage.
EarthHeal - Healing ability.
EvilGaze - Dark damage.
HeavyDust - Earth damage.
WhiteFlame - Level Two Healing Ability.
Sliprain - Water damage.
ThunderArrow - Lit damage.
ShiningAir - Wind damage.
Snowfall - Ice damage.
PoisonRoot - Damager.
ThunderousRoar - Lit damage.
BoulderCrush - (Earth?) damage.
HolyOrder - Final Healing ability + Life.
NatureCall - Non-Elemental damage.
GreenWord - Stronger Non-Elemental damage.


Could add more if you need to, or alter some as you see fit.



  • Volcano - Fire
  • E.Quake - Earth
  • Tempest - Lit
  • Hurricane - Wind



Equipment

Weapons : Swords/Katanas. (Since rapiers don't 'exist'). And Rods for extra Wis?
Armour : Light/Robe.
Sheild? Yesh
Rings/Gloves? Rings.


Stats : On the way.

They're talking about classes, not individual characters. The closest thing to him would be a thief. You could always make a custom icon based off of him if you met the requirements, though.

Well... I have to add this because it'd be the most epic class EVAAAAR. (Lacks a name at the moment. Some sort of caller.)

Attack - (Uses swords and staves.)
Blue - Blue Magic.
Black - Black Magic.
Summon - Summoning Magic.
Item - Use item from inventory.

Anyways... How about Doll Mage:

Doll Mage:

Attack
Marionette(uses a selected Monster skill against the opposing party -those without magic or monster skills will attack normally-)
DollCast (Cast Magic depending on equipped doll)
